Crypto Whales Reshuffle Altcoin Investments
Blockchain analytical platform Spotonchain reports notable shifts in the investment strategies of crypto whales.
Key Altcoins Acquired by Whales
In recent hours, a crypto whale has purchased a significant amount of BEAM tokens. The transaction involved 189.55 million BEAM tokens, valued at $6.7 million.
In addition to BEAM, the whale has diversified its portfolio with several other altcoins, including:
- Fantom (FTM): 10.245 million FTM purchased for $13.5 million.
- PePe (PEPE): 531.7 billion PEPE tokens acquired for $11.04 million.
- Aerodrome Finance (AERO): 2.453 million AERO tokens purchased for $4.43 million.
Whales Accumulating VIRTUAL
VIRTUAL, the native token of Virtuals Protocol, has also emerged as a target for whales. Two recently activated wallets, potentially controlled by the same whale, purchased 4.25 million $VIRTUAL for $2.35 per token.
Another whale acquired 664,361 $VIRTUAL tokens for $1.58 million.
Santiment Data Suggests Accumulation Trend
Santiment reports an increase in wallet addresses holding substantial amounts of VIRTUAL. These wallets collectively added 6.30 million VIRTUAL tokens worth $15 million, pushing the token's price to record levels.
If the accumulation trend persists, VIRTUAL could potentially surpass the $2.60 mark.
