Binance Delists ICP and MAV Spot Pairs
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the delisting of additional spot trading pairs. Internet Computer (ICP) and Maverick Protocol (MAV) will be delisted on July 19, 2024, at 03:00 UTC.
The decision to delist these pairs was made after a periodic review of all listed spot trading pairs. Binance considers factors such as liquidity, trading volume, and other metrics to determine which pairs to delist.
Binance recommends users update or cancel their spot trading bots before the cessation of services to avoid any potential losses.
ICP and MAV Price Action
Following the delisting announcement, ICP's price has retreated slightly, currently trading at $10.12. The 24-hour price range has been $9.34 to $10.29, and trading volume has decreased.
In contrast, MAV's price has gained 8% in the past 24 hours, currently trading at $0.2304. The trading volume has also increased slightly.
Binance's Initiatives
Despite the delisting, Binance continues to implement initiatives to enhance market liquidity and trading experience for its users. The exchange has recently launched a Battle of the Meme Dogs event, offering rewards to participants trading Shiba Inu and Dogecoin.
Binance has also rolled out other initiatives to support the crypto market, including the launch of new spot trading pairs and the introduction of new features.
