Manny Pacquiao Expresses Gratitude to Shiba Inu Community for Charitable Support
Boxing icon and former world champion Manny Pacquiao has conveyed his appreciation to the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community for their generous contributions to his philanthropic Manny Pacquiao Foundation.
In a heartfelt video message, Pacquiao thanked the "SHIB Army" for their unwavering support, particularly their charitable donations.
"Hello, SHIB Community," Pacquiao said in the video. "Thank you for your commitment to helping those in need. We appreciate your continued support of the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, and we are excited about Shibarium."
Shibarium, a layer-2 scaling solution for SHIB, was launched as a public beta in July 2023. It utilizes plasma and proof-of-stake technology to facilitate token transfers between Shibarium and Ethereum, the leading smart contract platform. The team behind Shibarium recently announced the completion of a hard fork.
Pacquiao's foundation has a long history of assisting families and communities in need worldwide through initiatives such as housing projects, anti-human trafficking efforts, and COVID-19 relief.
The foundation accepts donations in various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Shiba Inu (SHIB). SHIB is currently trading at $0.0000266, representing a 9% increase over the past week.
