Major Pepe Memecoin Whale Sells Altcoin at a Loss
According to on-chain cryptocurrency data, a significant Pepe memecoin whale has recently sold another altcoin at a loss.
Crypto Whale Sells Eigen Tokens
Data from Lookonchain reveals that the whale, holding $31.44 million in Pepe tokens, has sold EigenLayer (EIGEN) tokens at a loss.
Earlier this month, the whale invested $3.24 million in 909,000 EIGEN tokens at an average price of $3.56.
Losses on EIGEN Sale
Subsequently, the whale sold 772,000 EIGEN tokens at an average price of $3.1, receiving 988.5 ETH (approximately $2.39 million).
The whale currently owns 139,800 EIGEN tokens valued at $449,000, resulting in an approximate loss of $407,000.
EIGEN Altcoin Price
At the time of writing, the EIGEN altcoin trades at $3.19.
