In the recent period where Solana memecoins have come to the forefront, MYRO was at the top of the list of attention-grabbers today. MYRO’s 24-hour trading volume surpassed Pepe Coin, showcasing investor interest. The trading volume for MYRO experienced an incredible jump on Thursday, January 18th, reaching $98 million and leaving behind Pepe Coin’s $77 million trading volume. This movement, especially in the realm of meme coins, also affected the price, triggering a process that extended to a 36% increase over the last 24 hours.
MYRO Overtakes Pepe Coin
MYRO’s rise to the top of the Solana meme coin lists was swift and dramatic, overshadowing the 24-hour trading volume of Pepe Coin. Additionally, the price also saw an increase of over 30%, heightening excitement among cryptocurrency investors.
This increase occurred during a period when meme coins created on Solana were gaining interest from traders. BONK, MYRO, and dogwifhat (WIF) have been the prominent Solana-based meme coins recently.
There are also investors who attribute MYRO’s price performance to ByBit’s strategic move. It is thought that the announcement of the MYRO/USDT price pair being listed on the exchange contributed to the price.
According to the announcement made by ByBit on January 18th, deposit transactions for MYRO will begin on January 18th. This will be followed by the listing on January 19th, and withdrawal transactions on the Solana network will become available on January 20th.
Current Status of MYRO and Meme Coins
Meanwhile, as of the writing on Thursday, the MYRO price saw an increase of over 30%, trading at $0.225. The trading volume over the last 24 hours surged by 101.07%, reaching $98.16 million.
In comparison, Pepe Coin experienced a decline of nearly 7% in price at the time of writing, falling to $0.000001176. Additionally, there was a decrease of 17.62% in trading volume, which was just over $66 million.

Matters don’t seem to be going well for DOGE, which still holds the top spot among meme coins. The price of DOGE, which Elon Musk has not commented on for a long time, seems to have drifted far from $0.1.
The price of DOGE at the time of writing has fallen by over 1% to $0.079. The trading volume saw a decrease of 15%, amounting to $248 million. The overall volume experienced a 1.3% decrease to $11.3 billion.
