Pepe Memecoin Lists on Major Japanese Crypto Exchange BITPoint
BITPoint Japan has listed PEPE, an Ethereum-based frog-themed memecoin, on its platform, making it the first memecoin listed in Japan's mainstream market. BITPoint Japan is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange licensed by the country's Financial Services Agency.
After the listing, BITPoint launched a promotional campaign offering the first ten users to purchase up to 10,000 yen worth of PEPE a lottery worth 100,000 yen. The campaign will run until November 27th.
BITPoint also plans a giveaway program for its followers on X, encouraging users to follow its handle and repost the PEPE listing announcement to qualify for a 10,000 yen giveaway program ending on November 27th.
PEPE launched in April 2023 and has seen significant growth since its inception.
