Ripple CEO Criticizes Dogecoin's Limited Utility
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has publicly criticized Dogecoin for its perceived lack of utility. While acknowledging that he is "not anti-doge," Garlinghouse maintains that he does not believe Dogecoin contributes positively to the industry.
According to Garlinghouse, beyond Elon Musk's involvement, he struggles to identify any meaningful use cases for Dogecoin. This statement has sparked a backlash from the Dogecoin community.
Billy Markus, Dogecoin's co-founder, argues that Dogecoin is essentially similar to Bitcoin, except for its canine mascot and some technical variations.
