Whale Invests Heavily in Pepe Coin, AERO, and FTM
A cryptocurrency whale has made substantial investments in Pepe Coin (PEPE), Aerodrome Finance (AERO), and Fantom (FTM), drawing attention to the market. The whale purchased these coins for approximately $21 million, capturing the interest of traders. This action, coupled with a broader upward trend in the fourth-quarter markets, has raised expectations for future appreciation of these cryptocurrencies.
Whale's Investment Strategy
According to data provided by Spot on Chain, the whale acquired 1.47 million FTM in a single transaction worth about $2 million, indicating that the whale's investments extend beyond this trade. The whale also accumulated approximately $19 million in other tokens recently, notably including 531.7 billion PEPE for $11.04 million, yielding a profit of $292,000. Additionally, the whale purchased 4.55 million FTM for $5.83 million, earning a $353,000 profit from this position.
Market Response and Price Movements
FTM's price surged by 1.5% to $1.350 due to significant buying pressure. In contrast, PEPE's price experienced a 3.5% decline to $0.00002129, despite a monthly increase of over 50%. AERO has also seen a 17% gain, reaching $2.201.
An analysis by CoinGape predicts that PEPE's price could double in the near future, with a potential surge of 80-100%. This optimistic forecast is supported by growing market interest as the year-end approaches. Binance's launch of AEROUSDT futures has further boosted market optimism for the token.
