Bitcoin's Price Recovers After Volatility
Bitcoin's price experienced significant fluctuations yesterday, initially surging above $100,000 but subsequently declining to below $94,400. Since then, it has recovered most of its losses and currently trades near $98,000.
Altcoins Show Mixed Performance
The altcoin market generally remains in a bearish trend. However, some larger-cap altcoins such as XRP, SOL, and TON have exhibited impressive gains.
BTC Targets $98K
Bitcoin's inability to break through $100,000 has led to a series of downward price movements. After reaching a daily high of $100,400, BTC plummeted to $94,400 within hours.
Recovery attempts were met with resistance, causing another drop to $94,400. Since then, Bitcoin has regained some ground, rising to $94,400 again. Its market capitalization has approached $1.940 trillion, while its dominance over altcoins remains above 53%.
XRP in Recovery Mode
Ripple's XRP, which had been underperforming, has rebounded from below $2. It now trades above $2.3 following positive news regarding the company's upcoming stablecoin.
Other Notable Gainers and Losers
Solana, Toncoin, and Shiba Inu are among the other altcoins with significant gains. In contrast, DOGE, ETH, BNB, AVAX, and TRX have declined. PEPE has experienced a particularly sharp drop of 7%.
Overall Market Recovery
The total crypto market capitalization has recovered over $150 billion from its recent low and currently stands at $3.650 trillion.
